You approve the design, servings, and final price before we ever send a payment link, so nothing is locked in until you say yes.

How far in advance should I order?+
Simple cakes need 3 to 7 days, custom designs 7 to 14, sculpted 3D cakes 14 to 21, larger events 21 to 30, and weddings 45 to 60. The more lead time we have, the more we can do, and earlier is always welcome.
Do you take a deposit?+
Yes. A 50% deposit of the initial cost confirms your date and reserves it on the calendar. The remaining balance, plus any items added along the way, is due by pickup or delivery.
What if I need to cancel or move my date?+
Your deposit holds your date and covers the design time and ingredients we start reserving right away, so it isn't refundable. If your plans change, give us about a week's notice and we'll do our best to move your deposit to a new date.
How do I pay, and when?+
A 50% deposit reserves your date through Square. The balance is due at pickup or before delivery. Your deposit is based on the estimate you see, and we confirm the final price and the balance before pickup.
How many people does a cake serve?+
A rough guide: an 8-inch round serves about 12 to 16, a two-tier serves 30 to 40, and tiers scale up from there. Tell us your headcount on the order form and we'll size it right.
Any current specials?+
Orders of $500 or more get 10% off, applied automatically to your estimate. You can also add a dozen cupcakes ($40), a dozen sugar cookies ($25), a half-dozen brownies ($26), or a dozen cake pops ($46) to any cake order.
Do you deliver?+
We offer pickup at the Dallas shop and local delivery across Gaston County and the Charlotte metro. Wedding cakes include delivery and on-site assembly.
Can you handle allergies and dietary needs?+
Yes. Nut-free, gluten-friendly, egg-free, dairy-free, vegan, and no-added-sugar options are available, and you can tell us on the order form. Our kitchen does handle nuts, wheat, eggs, and dairy, so for a severe allergy please call Brittany first and we'll talk through exactly how we'll keep it safe.
